When Valentines comes around its so hard to figure out what your going to do and how your going to celebrate. This year, some of the husbands in the ward went way beyond anything us girls had thought of. They decided that since some of us girls really enjoyed being together, they would give us a night off of parental duty :)They picked 6 of us up took us to a hotel located in the heart of Boise. We were surprised by having our jammies, and toiletries waiting for us at the hotel. We immediately jumped into our jammies and sat around and started talking.
At 6pm we were surprised by Craig Cosper (Stacy's hubby) bringing dinner to us, which was Chinese food from a tasty restaurant. With the dinner was a movie just for Stacy. We sat down with dinner and started the movie right away.... In the movie was questions asked of Craig of what the most special things he thought of Stacy was, which made (her) and all of us tear up.At 7pm- Bryce came back to the hotel ( he was the one that dropped us off) and brought petties for all of us to enjoy. Amber was a good sport and painted all our toenails.... we love you Amber.
At 8pm- Danny (Amber's hubby, wasn't able to come) left chocolate covered roses on our doorstep and made a phone call that was just a enjoyable to listen too. We also had a movie for Amber to watch too.
At 9pm- Geff (Maggie's hubby) showed up and brought a game that we could play during that hour and also Maggie's movie
At 10pm- Sean (Vendy's hubby) came with Ben n Jerry's icecream. 1pint for each of us with 6 different flavors. We passed them around so each of us could have a taste of the different flavas...
At 11pm- Sean Again because Jamison was on an airplane with personalized letters from each of our husbands and the movie "PS. I love you" very good movie, just sad...
At 12pm- Jamison( Jenny's hubby surprised us) with pillow cases with pictures of our husbands on them to remind us as we sleep to think of them.
Very sweet and thoughtful night. Each of us enjoyed it and got to sleep in (sort of) :) After being with the kids and waking up at 7:30 every morning, you get used to it ;) So we did our best and then we had a continental breakfast provided by the hotel which was good.
